Basic comfort with Python, PySpark, and Databricks is recommended. LLM and Vector Search experience is not required — we teach prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG from first principles. If you're brand new to Databricks, we suggest pairing this with our Databricks Zero to Hero course.
A workspace with Unity Catalog is recommended so you can follow along hands-on. A Databricks Free Edition or a free Azure/AWS trial works for most modules. We walk you through the full setup in Module 2.
